Quando vemos uma imagem, somos levados naturalmente a depositar sobre ela uma série de conexões que ora se dão de forma racional, ora emocional. As imagens fazem parte de nossa estrutura e possuem a forte capacidade de materializar espaços íntimos, espaços onde até mesmo a palavra teria dificuldade de encontrar caminhos.

A música, por outro lado, é uma linguagem altamente abstrata que possibilita diversos modos de audição. Partindo do ouvir sensorial, que nos faz querer acompanhar o ritmo com o corpo, passamos pelo ouvir referencial, que nos leva a estabelecer relações com eventos ou sentimentos extrassonoros, até chegarmos, se assim desejarmos, ao ouvir que nos conduz à dimensão estética, onde o pensamento sobre a matéria musical em si se encontra. Antônio, de forma puramente intuitiva, procurou em sua primeira exposição virtual unir essas duas linguagens: imagem e música. O resultado é um passeio sem pressa por cada cantinho de suas fotografias. A música nos pega pela mão e nos transporta para dentro das cenas registradas pela câmera, onde podemos passar o tempo que quisermos.

When we see an image, we are naturally led to deposit on it a series of connections that sometimes occur in a rational way, other times in an emotional one. Images are part of our structure and have the strong capacity to materialize intimate spaces, spaces where even words would have difficulty finding their way.

Music, on the other hand, is a highly abstract language that enables various ways of listening. Starting from sensorial hearing, which makes us want to follow the rhythm with our body, we go through referential hearing, which leads us to establish relations with events or feelings that go beyond the simple sound, until we reach, if we so desire, the hearing that leads us to the aesthetic dimension, where the thought about the musical matter itself is found. Antônio, in a purely intuitive way, sought in his first virtual exhibition to unite these two languages: image and music. The result is a calm stroll through each corner of his photographs. The music takes us by the hand and transports us into the scenes registered by the camera, where we can spend as much time as we want.
